Milan – Bologna
AC Milan faces Bologna at the San Siro in a match from the 34th week of the Serie A.
Milan are looking really improved since the league was restarted after the COVID-19 pandemic. The manager Stefano Pioli and his players managed to record many positive results, including a win against the champion Juventus. In their last five matches in the Calcio the Rossoneri are unbeaten – three wins and two draws. That’s some impressive form from the former champions.
At this moment Milan are 7th in the Serie A with 53 points won, but on the same level as the 6th Napoli. In their last game the Rossoneri secured their 15th win for the season. Stefano Pioli’s side is playing very well, but they are doing it a little bit too late, don’t you think? It is the end of the season after all.
In their previous game Milan hosted Parma and celebrated a 3-1 win at home. Kurtic opened the score for Parma, but Kessie equalised for Milan. Romagnoli and Calhanoglu secured the win for the hosts.
Bologna are ready to finish another decent season for the club. Right now the Rossoblu are 10th in the Serie A with 43 points and they are once again performing as a solid midtable team in the Calcio. What’s worrying is that Bologna won just one of their last five matches – against Inter Milan.
In their last match Bologna hosted Napoli at the Renato Dall’Ara and won a point after a 1-1 draw. Until the 80th minute the Rossoblu were losing, but Musa Barrow equalised.
Milan are no doubt the favourites against Bologna, although the Rossoblu deserve respect for their efforts through the season. We see some real improvement in the Rossoneri’s performance, so we are betting on Milan in this one. Let’s see if we are right.
