Leicester City – Manchester City
Leicester City faces Manchester City at the King Power Stadium in one of the most interesting games from the 27th round of the Premier League.
Leicester City are having some trouble with their form as they won just one of their last five matches in the league. Still they are in a great position to finish in the Top 4 as they are third in the standings with 50 points – 9 points more than the 4th Chelsea. If the Foxes successfully bring their best form back they won’t have a problem with qualifying for the Champions League again.
In their last game Leicester made their 5th draw for the season. Brendan Rodgers’ team had a tough visit to the Molineux which ended with a 0-0 draw. They also finished the game with a red card as Hamza Choudhury was sent off 14 minutes before the end. He won’t be able to face Manchester City on Saturday.
At this moment Manchester City are second in the Premier League with 51 points – one point more than Leicester, but tonight they are facing West Ham United at the Etihad, so this gap could be increased.
Just as we talked last time, Manchester City are now suspended and they won’t be able to play in the Champions League next season. This means that for them it’s not going to matter at which position they will finish in the Premier League. In same time they are going to appeal their suspension, so they must stay motivated.
This is a tough moment for the manager Josep Guardiola who must keep his players motivated after the suspension and after they have already lost the title race with Liverpool.
Leicester City and Manchester City are two of the best teams in England at the moment, so this is going to be a huge Premier League derby this Saturday.
