Hertha – Augsburg
We are going to the capital where Hertha BSC will host Augsburg in a game from the 29th round of the German Bundesliga.
Hertha BSC remain unbeaten since the end of the COVID-19 quarantine break. The Old Lady won twice and made one draw, which allowed Hertha to climb up to 10th place in the league. It seems that Bruno Labbadia’s work as a manager is giving fruits now. Hertha look very organized and that’s great news for the club’s fans.
On Wednesday Hertha won a point at a very difficult ground to play to. Labbadia’s team visited Leipzig to face RB Leipzig and secured a point with a 2-2 draw. Marko Grujic and Krzyzstof Piatek from a penalty kick scored for the Old Lady. Piatek still can’t win Bruno Labbadia’s trust to become a starter, but maybe now he would be given a chance to be in the starting eleven.
Against Augsburg Hertha BSC will be without Niklas Stark and Santiago Ascacibar who are injured.
Augsburg are undefeated in the last two rounds of the Bundesliga. On Wednesday they hosted the struggling Paderborn at home, but won only a point with a 0-0 draw. It was dissapointing for the fans, because they expected a win against the weakest team in the league. In the second half the manager Heiko Herrlich gave a chance to players like Sarenren-Bazee, Gruezo, Cordova and Lichtsteiner, but it didn’t give any result.
Despite of doing only a draw, Augsburg climbed up in the table. They are now 12th in the standings with 31 points, overtaking Union Berlin. This is a good place to be for Augsburg which main goal is to survive.
That’s our preview for the Bundesliga match between Hertha BSC and Augsburg in Berlin on Saturday. Both teams are unbeaten in their last fixtures, so it’s going to be interesting.
